STOP NEGLECTING YOUR JOURNAL, NICOLE.
7th-Jul-2009 12:58 pm(no subject)

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

When you have to study or get work done, what music (if any) do you put on to help you concentrate?

Green Day's new album is pretty good for that. I also like to let Folie a` Deux play all the way through if I have to concentrate on something.

Well, not a whole lot has been happening in the World Of Nicole. Life's been pretty good in general, despite my stupid and random mood swings. I've been attempting to write some stuff, but I piss myself off, so I usually don't get past a paragraph. I don't even want to know how many unfinished drafts are in my Wordpad.
I've never fully realized how much more relaxed I am in the summer. Usually it's, "Three months and I have to start school AGAIN!" But this summer, I'm taking a more "I've got three months to do this, I'm in no hurry" approach. It's working pretty well. I have more time to read, write, draw, actually pay attention to my friends, and not feel guilty after playing the Sims for six hours straight.
Also, Mom gave me her iTouch (iPod Touch?), which after a short conversation with Kahae, is named Spencer.

There it is, haha. And oh my god, of course I've got to have Ryan Ross as my wallpaper, right? Godddd, I mean how predictable,  blahhh.

Oh, yeah, and I went to Dami's yesterday. I don't think quoting Jon Walker has ever been so much fun.

What's your favorite thing to show out-of-town guests when they come to visit?

01. Anyone who looks at this entry has to post this meme and their current wallpaper at their livejournal.
02. Explain in five sentences why you're using that wallpaper!
03. Don't change your wallpaper before doing this! The point is to see what you had on!

Okay, so uhm this is my wallpaper because I love this picture, I love the band, and I love Spencer's very visable tummy. I've been thinking about changing it lately because it's been my wallpaper for so incredibly long, but I just can't find a better picture to use. It always seems to strike up interesting conversations, whether they're about the band or gymnastics. I also love Ryan's fail cartwheel and how Brendon hasn't even started. The first reaction to it is always, "Dude, what's wrong with Ryan's crotch?"

It's like I'm just realizing everything over again.

It's like I'm realizing for the millionth time that there isn't a god.

It's like fifth grade all over again, when I realized I really wasn't wanted .

It's like relapsing.

It's like this will never stop.

I'm still alive.

Just... wow. I can't even believe how much I've been neglecting this thing.

Seriously, wow. So I thought I'd get you all caught up on my oh-so boring life.

My memory is a bitch so I can't remember everything. But I guess I'll start with today.

I entered this contest to get my "art" on the cover of our school literary magazine. I guess I won. The magazines were being passed around today and could be purchased for $3.00. I got a free copy. How exciting. I also had to sign my teacher's copy, haha. He made this big "Let's honor her work" speech type thing and I'm sure I blushed uncontrollably. I hate being center of attention. But when an opportunity like this occurs, why not take the chance?

Also, I'm not really sure what's been going on with my math grades lately. I keep getting really good scores on my tests and whatnot. It's pretty fun. Same with most of my classes, actually. Note how I said "most".

I've been talking up a storm with random people. Strangly, I've been the most introverted kid ever since I was born. I mean, I'm not talking to random people about a lot of stuff, I'm just being slightly more social. Which, sadly, is probably a lot less social than the average teenager. But hey, whatreyagonnado?

Ohhh, and mom said she will buy Dami and I tickets for Warped Tour in August. How exciting is that? I can't wait personally. Strange how I'm most excited about seeing All Time Low, even though I've already seen them. I'm giving up Hey Monday for Warped though. :|

It seems like all these good things are going on, and I should be smiling like there's no tomorrow. But I'm not. Something in my stomach just doesn't feel right.

Adios.
